Jazz music to curl up and read a book to..

I stumbled upon this when I was searching for nice jazz music which are not too experimental up to the point that it disrupts my thoughts when I read, and not too boring that it drives me straight to the dreamland, like the elevator jazz. So here it is.

Bebop, Swing and All that Jazz

I tried to find the bio of the musician, but I have no idea what part he plays in the composition and execution of the songs. It just says that he’s a ” multi-instrumentalist Australian musician fluent in free style, smooth, swing, bossa nova and funk fusion jazz genres.” (http://www.lewisluong.com/)

So does that mean he’s the one playing all the instruments in the album? Like the piano, sax, and drums? Was he using a synthesizer? No idea. If he was in a live band I should be able to find some live jazz gigs that his band has performed. But nope. Never seen one before. Anyway it is good stuff. Some alternative to all that Chrissy songs. Enjoy!
